Making comparisons consistent

A fair comparison needs the same rules for every product — otherwise the “winner” is just marketing.

Why this matters

Most comparison pages are inconsistent. One seller highlights battery life, another highlights suction power. Reviews use different scoring systems. Specs are listed differently (or missing), and key limitations are buried. That inconsistency makes buyers compare apples to oranges and leads to poor decisions.

How GeniePick helps

GeniePick compares products using a consistent structure: a shared set of signals (performance, reliability, maintenance, value, noise, etc.), a consistent way of showing strengths and weak points, and clear “why this wins” logic instead of vague star ratings. The layout stays stable so you can scan quickly and trust what you’re seeing.

What comes next

We’re building category-by-category Signal Dictionaries so each category has the right comparison dimensions, better spec normalization, and a consistent scoring method with plain‑English explanations.
